Just some things to add to the list:

Katayoku no Tori (One-Winged Bird) by Akiko Shikata; Umineko no Na
ku Koro ni: The epicness... Akiko Shikata is a great singer with a beautiful voice. Just hear it and listen to her songs, you'll not be disappointed.

The WORLD by Nightmare; Death Note op 1: It's just almost flawless.... well almost, the full version is a bit annoying....

Alumina by Nightmare; Death Note ed 1: I dunno... just listen it's hard to explain... I don't want to say it's beautiful because it is not at that level (well, not at MY rating scale...) but it is an amazing song!

I honestly love the sailor moon crystal openinh because of the lyrics, shows very well the spirit how girls can fight for themselves, unfortunely the 3D just looks out of place there.

My favorite anime Japanese OP, and in no particular order

1. Kawaita Sakebi - Field of View, Yu-Gi-Oh! (original late 1990s anime AKA Season 0)

2. Wild Challenger - Jindou, BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo

3. Someday let's go together - Rub-down, Supersonic Spinners/Super Yo-Yo

4. Metal Fight Beyblade OP 1 - Metal Fight Beyblade (sounds better than that dumb old English dub opening theme)

5. Kokoro no Yuki - Yu+Ki, Metal Fight Beyblade 4D

6. Spinning the World - Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion second OP, also featured in the Metal Fight Beyblade movie

7. Dream - Outer Tribe, Cross Fight B-Daman eS

8. Just Communication - TWO-MIX, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing

9. Bokura no Victory - BB-Daman Bakugaiden Victory OP2

10. GOGO! Bakugaiden - BB-Daman Bakugaiden IV OP2

EDIT: Adding Bokura no Victory and GOGO! Bakugaiden to my list

For Spinning the World, I'm trying to find the translation of the song but all I got are romaji lyrics.

One I can't believe I forgot to mention is definitely Space Dandy's OP, Viva Namida. I've been listening to it almost nonstop for days now.

Tons of great insert songs in that one, too.

Also:
  • Brighter Side by SaGa (Viewtiful Joe first OP)
  • And You by SaGa (Viewtiful Joe first ED)
  • Spirit Awake by SaGa (Viewtiful Joe second OP)
  • Through the Night by Arimachi Masahiko (Outlaw Star OP)
  • Junk Boy by Kaori 2 Luv (MAZE The Megaburst Space ED) [I've actually never even watched this one, I just found this song one day.]
  • Fallen Angel by Aimee B. (Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt ED)
