So, today I received a very welcome visitor to my collection- the sought-after Spike=Phoenix.
I had ordered two of them. However, the one I opened for testing contained a nasty little "error".
As is known, the trigger and Core on all Cross Fight products are separate in the packaging. However, when I tried to push the trigger into the Spike Core, it wouldn't fit. After comparing it with some of my other cores, I found that the space for the trigger is too small to fit the trigger through.
I don't know if it's all Spike=Phoenix models or just this one, but to err on the side of caution, make sure you have some pliers and/or a nail file ready if you do decide to open your Spike=Phoenix.
I'll be posting some pictures of the defective core later on.

Must be a quality control error. My trigger fits just fine. Sorry to hear that. :-\

If ever I get Spike=Phoenix...if ever that's gonna happen, a minor custom work is in order. Not really a big issue. Either that or I'll look for a smaller trigger.

Anywho, Who has the same problem?

I additionally own Spike=Phoenix and am not experiencing this problem with Spike's Trigger.

I guess Rezon got unlucky.
EDIT1: It's either the trigger is like, to big or he really is unlucky.
EDIT2: One more thing:

I have also just bought Spike=Phoenix. I also had problems. My trigger can fit into the Spike core, but that trigger cannot fit the power grip or mantle.

Unlucky

What do you mean by "but that trigger cannot fit the power grip or mantle"?
