Yo-yos
#1
This is where you talk about yo-yos in general. Today, I managed to do that one trick, "The Elevator".

So, ever since May this year, I've been editing on this wiki about yo-yos. I also made a few articles of my own on there.

Anyways, these are the tricks I know currently;

  1. Gravity Pull (up-and-down)
  2. Sleeper
  3. Forward Pass
  4. Loop the Loop (albeit rather sketchy)
  5. Around the World
  6. Breakaway
  7. Man on the Flying Trapeze
  8. Frontstyle Bind
  9. Basic Bind
  10. Elevator
  11. Under Mount
  12. Over Mount
  13. Flying Saucer
  14. The Creeper
  15. Over and Under
  16. Rock the Baby
  17. Walk the Dog
  18. Barrel Rolls
EDIT: Updated the list

So today, I got a new yo-yo, and it's a real classic since the 1990s, especially during the yo-yo boom; the Yomega Fireball, a transaxle yo-yo.

The only trick I knew how to do was the "walking the dog" as we called it.

@[member='PatyKida']: Now that trick I've a bit of a hard time doing because I can't touch the yo-yo to the floor gently enough to control it without it losing sleep time and forcing me to return it to my hand early.

I tried to get into yo-yoing but failed. I have two Fireballs, a Raider, a Brain and a metal Butterfly yo-yo from Sharper Image, but no tricks to do with them.

Bummer. Yo-yo's not for everyone I suppose. You could be good with other kinds of skill toys, though.
